I am off to do some tramping (New Zealand word for hiking) and climb the hills around Queenstown. Then I'd like to treat myself to some chocolate birthday cake! : )
I just wanted to thank everyone for wishing me a happy birthday. I feel so spoiled that y'all are thinking of me from way over there!

Journal Entry #4 - Happy Birthday To Me
Holy crap, holy crap. Apparently my birthday celebration with the Maori was more of a wedding celebration. I think my new Kiwi friends married me off late last night. Limey bastards, I mean Kiwi bastards. And these tatoo's are not a real sign of endearment. Talk about feeling like a piece of meat.
I managed to sneak out of the village this morning. Luckily there were a number of props left from the Xena TV show. I was able to grab on to some vines and swing my way to freedom.
I am heading to Queenstown today. Lionel Ritchie is very popular there and I heard I could probably score some concert tickets.
"Oooo I'm dacing on the ceiling. Oh what a feeling, I'm dancing on the ceiling." God I love Lionel Ritchie!
Aah! Birds, lots of birds. No! not my hair. Get out of my hair! It's just frizzy because of the humidity you stupid birds! Get off me!
"Mam! Don't move Mam you have entered the Kiwi and Birdlife Park. Those birds are endangered and are trying to make a nest".
"Mam there are only 5 Kiwi birds in the sanctuary I am afraid you will need to come with us and leave those birds alone in their nest."
"But the birds are nesting in my hair?"
"That's what the shears are for Mam."
"But's it's my birthday and I am not a Mam!"
"Ok Mam, if you could just step over here."
"Happy Birthday to me, Damn it!"
